I had made an order over at e-cig.com the day before the press release was issued that claimed a court had orderd e-cig.com to destroy their inventory and cease trading. Naturally, I was worried for my order and wrote to e-cig asking if would still be pushed through under the circumstances. I received a response:

Where did you read that we will destroy all our inventory? That’s a terrible, big lie!!!

I wrote back and pointed them to the four sites that had shown the press release. Within an hour I had response from Sam Han, the owner:

Thanks for your information. Please see our answer for the story: Terrible Lie: We Are Closed?!
We really appreciate your information. We will send you one set of our new products for FREE.

Sam Han

Evidently It was News to them. The link they pointed me to explains that Yes, There was a court case that ruled that e-cig.com must discontinue supplying two models of electronic cigarette and were ordered to pay Ruyan compensation but the press release was a gross exaggeration.

To quote their response:

We will never be closed. On the contrary, we have cleared the garbage products which could not meet the market needs, and concentrate now on our own new products; and we will be growing much quicker and quicker again.

Ouch!!
